Description

A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. The item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Okinawa and Tarakan. An English translation of the text is attached. This issue is dated 2 May 1945 and reports the suicide of Hitler, the uprising of Italian partisans against Germany, the situation on Okinawa, the landing of Australian troops on Tarakan and the opening of the world peace conference.
