Description
A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. The item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Rangoon, Borneo, Tarakan, Japan-Formosa and Okinawa. An English translation of the text is attached. This issue is dated 8 May 1945 and covers the surrender of Germany, the fall of Rangoon, the recapture of Borneo by Australian forces, the war situation on Okinawa and air raids on mainland Japan by B-29 bombers.
