Description
A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. The item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Japan-Formosa, Burma, Tarakan and Wewak. An English translation of the text is attached. This issue is dated 16 May 1945 and reports the transfer of Allied troops to the Pacific, air raids on the Japanese mainland, the war situation on Okinawa, the advance of Allied Forces in Burma, the movement of Australian forces from Tarakan and the fall of Wewak.
