Description
A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. The item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Tokyo, Balikpapan Area, Brunei, Labuan, Okinawa and China-Hong Kong. An English translation of the text is attached. This leaflet is dated 22 June 1945 and covers the bombing of Japan, the loss of shipping capacity by the Japanese, the fall of Brunei, the imminent end of the Okinawa campaign, the bombing of Truk, the situation in China and Taiwan and the arrest of a Nazi war criminal.
