Description
A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. The item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Okinawa and Honshu. An English translation of the text is attached. Events covered by this issue are the end of the Okinawa campaign on 22 June 1945, the bombing of the Japanese mainland, the recapture of the Seria oil fields by Australian forces, the advance of Chinese forces up the coastline opposite Okinawa and the return of peace to Europe.
