Description
A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. The item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Tarakan. An English translation of the text is attached. This issue covers events such as the post-war rehabilitation of Europe, war crimes trials held in Germany, establishment of the United Nations, destruction of Japanese war industries and the recapture of oil fields on Tarakan and at Seria by Australian forces. The defeat of the Japanese on Okinawa and the shipping problem are also discussed.
