Description
A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. The item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Balikpapan and Wake Island. An English translation of the text is attached. Events covered by this issue are the recapture of Balikpapan by the Australian forces, the end of the Philippine campaign, the intensified bombing targeting Japanese war industries, the situation in Burma and the evacuation of wounded Japanese solders from Wake Island.
