Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Japan-Formosa and Melanesia. The leaflet advises Japanese forces that the Japanese Government made a difficult, but wise, decision to surrender. The message refers to the Japanese POWs who surrendered during the war years, and emphasises that they have been treated well in accordance with international law on POWs.
