Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War and distributed to the Netherlands East Indies. This item includes a copy of a leaflet advising Dutch and English-speaking prisoners of war of the surrender of Japan and a copy of a note requesting the Japanese commanders of the prisoner-of-war camps in Indonesia to distribute copies of the leaflet. The Japanese note reminds these commanders that they will be held responsible for the well-being of the Allied prisoners of war until their repatriation commences.
