Group portrait of five soldier cousins.
Left to right, back row: 3735 Private Harold Ambrose Grant, 1st Battalion (killed in action on 6 May 1917, see photo P06392.001), 3821 Pte Ernest Edward George Robinson 1st Battalion (later died of wounds on 21 July 1916). Left to right centre row: 1329 Pte (later Bombardier) Arthur James Robinson 12th Light Horse Regiment (later 5th Divisional Ammunition Column), 3818 Pte Alexander Robinson, 1st Battalion, Front row: 4551 Driver (later Gunner) Thomas Silvester Theodore Vincent Robinson, 1st Divisional Ammunition Column (later 1st Trench Mortar Battery). 3821 Pte Robinson, of Rocky Hall, New South Wales. A miner prior to enlisting he embarked from Sydney aboard RMS Mooltan on 11 December 1915. He died of wounds in France on 21 July 1916, aged 28. He is buried in Daours Communal Cemetery Extension, France.
