Studio portrait of 920 Corporal Arthur Albert Low, 30th Battalion, of Warialda, NSW. Son of Robert William James and Ellen Low. A labourer prior to enlisting, he embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Beltana (A72) on 9 November 1915. He was killed in action on 2 November 1916 in France, aged 19. He is buried in Beaulencourt British Cemetery, Ligny-Thilloy, France.
