"Jammu airstrip on returning from Peace negotiations with U Thant and Prime Minister Shastri in Delhi during the Sep 1965 War between India and Pakistan. Jammu was the southernmost UN Field Station on the Indian side of the CFL (Cease Fire Line) and this was the last flight authorised for the UN aircraft to return General Nimmo and Capt Newman to UN HQs [Headquarters] in Srinigar during the War."
