Description
The grave of NX60167 Sergeant (Sgt) Hilary John Hurley, 9th Battery, 3rd Anti Tank Regiment in the El Alamein War Cemetery. Sgt Hurley was killed in action on 1 November 1942 during the German offensive on Australian positions just to the west of Tel el Eisa. The grave is marked by a cross, a plaque with a Rising Sun in relief and a stone engraved with the words "Ever remembered".
