A fire rages in the Thai soldiers' quarters at Camp Martin Cox (Bearcat Base), where the 135th Assault Helicopter Company (135th AHC), United States Army, and the RAN Helicopter Flight Vietnam (RANHFV) are also based. A US Army fire truck is being driven along a road in the foreground. RANHFV is serving with the 135th AHC in Vietnam. Due to its integrated nature, the unit is designated an ‘experimental military unit', with the nickname EMU. Throughout their service in Vietnam members of RANHFV and 135th AHC provided tactical airlift and gunship support for Australian and allied ground forces.
