Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Melanesia and the Netherlands East Indies. An English translation of the text is attached. The message urges Formosan soldiers to surrender to the Allied Forces so as to return to their country after the war. It guarantees that they will be treated kindly and provided with food and medical treatment. The leaflet includes a large picture of Formosan POWs queuing for food and drinks.
