Pari no fukugen to Rûmania, Burugaria no kôwa [French retake Paris, Roumania accepts peace terms].
Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to Melanesia and the Netherlands East Indies. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet reports the liberation of Paris from German occupation by its patriotic citizens on 23 August. It also mentions the acceptance of peace terms by the Romanian and the Bulgarian governments which originally allied themselves with Germany. The message emphasises that the German power in Europe is coming to the end.
