A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. The item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Burma, Balikpapan, the Philippines and Formosa. An English translation of the text is attached. Events covered by this issue include the operations in the Philippines, the naval operations off Formosa, the war situation in Europe, the Allied bombing of German military production sites, the air raids on Japanese positions in Balikpapan and the retreat of Japanese troops from Kohima and Imphal. It also reports the appointment of Tokugawa Kuniaki as President of the House of Peers.
