Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to the Netherlands East Indies and the Philippines. An English translation of the text is attached. This leaflet reports the advance of the Allied Forces into the Philippines, the losses of the Japanese Navy during the battle off the Philippines, the bombings of Japanese ships near Luzon Island, the Parawan Sea and Sandakan, and the air raids on Japanese positions in Celebes, Halmahera, Seram and Ambon. It also mentions the war situation in Europe and includes a brief joke at the end.
