Description
A propaganda leaflet produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This leaflet is written in Japanese and was distributed to the Philippines, North Pacific and Hollandia. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet reports the air raid on Tokyo by large numbers of Super Fortresses (B-29 bombers) on 24 November 1944, the capture of Limon on Leyte by the American forces, the bombardment of the Kurile Islands and the shipping losses suffered by the Japanese. It also touches on the situation in Europe. The leaflet includes a picture of two Super Fortresses on the back.
