Description
A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. This item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Leyte and Iwo Jima. An English translation of the text is attached. The leaflet is dated 11 December 1944 and covers a new landing at Ipil on Leyte by the Allied Force, the air raid on Iwojima by B-29s on 8 December 1944 and other successful operations by B-29s. It also mentions the earthquake on 7 December in Japan and the movement of the Russian forces near Austria.
