Description
A propaganda newspaper produced by the Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) during the Second World War. The item is written in Japanese and was distributed to Iwo Jima, Palawan and Tokyo. An English translation of the text is attached. This issue reports the use of the southern airfield on Iwojima by the American Air Force, the occupation of Palawan Island by the American forces, the bombing of Tokyo on 4 March, the advance of the Allied Forces to the Rhine River in Germany, the advance of the Russian forces to the Baltic coast and the provision of relief supplies for people in France, Italy and Greece.
