Group portrait of the Queensland Senior Cadets unit following the Presentation of its Colours. The colour party went from Queensland to Melbourne to receive the Colours worked by the Countess of Dudley for the Queensland Cadets. Back Row: Lieutenant J. F. Bourne, Sergeant A Jones, Lieutenant A E Halstead. Lieutenant Albert Edward Halstead enlisted in the First World War, serving initially as Lieutenant then Captain with the 42nd Battalion; he was killed in action on 16 April 1918.
