Description
Home movies relating to the service of Bruce Malcolm Carter, 1 Field Squadron RAE. Carter purchased a Canon movie camera while on leave in Hong Kong and filmed Hong Kong harbour, locals and buildings. On return to Nui Dat, he filmed fellow unit members in and around camp, some construction projects, such as a dam and roadwork. Also filmed helipad with various helicopters landing and taking off (Clifford Truelove filming at the same time). Vung Tau while there on R&C and final take off in QANTAS Boeing 707 to Sydney.
