Outdoor portrait of Party J, Far Eastern Liaison Office (FELO) on Gebe Island with some local men and children. Identified, left to right: Dick Staff, NX144205 (N278918) Sergeant (Sgt) Edward Thomas Davis, Bob, Peter "Junior" Malley. Sgt Davis was in command of a small vessel which worked behind enemy lines and was awarded the British Empire Medal for volunteering to take his boat past a section of coastline to draw fire from shore gunnery, thereby ascertaining their positions. Sgt Davis was discharged on 17 May 1946.
