Description
Members of No 4 Squadron AFC stand around a French designed and made Salmson 2 reconnaissance aircraft (No.14) of the 12th Aero Squadron, Air Service of the American Expeditionary Force (AEF), displaying some artwork, the squadron symbol of an eagle clutching a shell, on the fuselage. From the collection of 2311 2nd Air Mechanic Henry Broadhead, No 4 Squadron AFC and originally of 7th Australian Light Horse Regiment.
