Description

Australian troopship A42 HMAT Boorara (ex Pfalz) at Mudros, after being rammed by French cruiser Kleber while in the Aegean Sea. She was rammed accidentally, was beached and patched up at Mudros, then repaired at Naples. The Pfalz was the ship fired upon and detained at Victoria in 1914 following the first shot fired in anger in Australia of the First World War.
