Private Allen May is presented the Cross of Gallantry with Silver Star by the Prime Minister of South Vietnam, Nguen Vanh Theu. After receiving their medals, the soldiers marched from the parade ground, handed their medals to the Quartermaster and were given a ceremonial Vietnamese doll in costume or a cigarette box in exchange.
