Studio portrait of 4227 Private Percival Arthur Ronald Rash, 25th Battalion. A farmer of Brisbane, Qld and formerly a piano tuner and repairer of Beecroft, NSW, prior to enlistment, he embarked from Brisbane with the 10th Reinforcements on HMAT Commonwealth (A73) on 28 March 1916. He died, aged 28, on 19 October 1916 at Ypres, Belgium, and is buried at Vlamertinghe Military Cemetery.
