Informal portrait of O33831 Pilot Officer (PO) Lionel Henry Cadogan Cowper, 77 Squadron. He is sitting in the cockpit of a Gloster Meteor jet. He was lost on operations over Korea on 30 March 1952 when his Meteor aircraft crashed during a rocket attack on installations in North Korea. He has no known grave and is commemorated at the United Nations Memorial Cemetery, Korea.
