Description

Outdoor portrait of Captain Tom Mayfield Hardy from Adelaide, South Australia; Major Adam McAllister from Tenterfield, NSW and other troopers standing behind a group of Arab prisoners of war. A small pile of oranges are visible on the sand in front of the prisoners. Major McAllister later died on 7 May 1917 from wounds received at Gaza.
