Teddys dream
Description
Soldier, Edward "Teddy" Flood, asleep and dreaming of rank chevrons. Flood (272) went on to serve in the First World War as a gunner in the Siege Artillery Brigade. He was originally from County Kildare, Ireland, and enlisted at the age of 41. He died of a gunshot wound to the chest on 18 April 1918, which he received the previous day, and is buried in Boulogne, France.
