History / Summary
This shoulder patch is part of a collection of insignia associated with 2/401314 Corporal James Adrian Harper who served in the Korean War from January 1953 to January 1954. Harper was a section commander with 6 Platoon, B Company, 3 Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment and was involved with the defence of Hill 355. The 101st Airborne Division, nicknamed the 'Screaming Eagles', is an airborne division of the United States Army and are primarily involved in air assault operations.
