History / Summary

The Honorable Clyde Cameron's account of the roots of the Labour Party's policy from the Irish influence in the Trade Union movement in the 1890s through to World War 1. He also discusses the Australian Labour Party's stance on conscription with a few to further understanding the Militia - AIF contoversy of World War 2. Cameron's views of later day Labour personalities and policies are also discussed.
