Studio portrait of 903A Trooper (Tpr) Clive Roberts, 3rd Australian Light Horse. Tpr Roberts enlisted on 22 February 1915 and embarked from Adelaide on 31 May 1915 on board HMAT Geelong. He served with the 27th Battalion before transferring to the 3rd Light Horse on 26 August 1915. He was killed in action at Rafa, Egypt on 9 January 1917, aged 19.
