East Timor's Presidential Election ballot papers. The two candidates are Francisco Guterres (Lu Ol) and Jose Ramos Horta. Red ink on the a finger was used to indicate a person had cast a vote. Under Operation Astute, members of the ADF were tasked to preserve the integrity of the election process and maintain security.
