Informal portrait of R29942 Chief Radio Electrician (CRE) Alan Wallace White probably on the deck of HMAS Sydney (III), where he was an authorised photographer during the ship's deployment to the Korean War from 31 August 1951 to 22 February 1952. Hanging from his neck are camera cases and a lens. CRE White served in the RAN from 1946 to 1957.
