Description
Raeburn Trindall, a cinematographer from the Commonwealth Film Unit, filming 2 Squadron Canberra bombers take off for an operational strike. Mr Trindall is filming with a 400mm lens mounted on a 35mm Arriflex camera. Howard Spry, the sound recordist is on the left. This is one of a series of stills recording the visit to Vietnam of the Commonwealth Film Unit team of Malcolm Smith, director, Raeburn Trindall, cinematographer and Howard Spry, sound recordist, in early October 1968 to shoot footage to be used in productions for the RAAF Golden Years 50th anniversary celebrations.
