Hand coloured studio portrait of NX35456 Private (Pte) George Cecil Wells from Griffith, New South Wales. Pte Wells enlisted in the second AIF in June 1940 and served with the 2/19 Battalion. He went missing at Parit Sulong and is presumed killed in action on the 22 January 1942.
