Family members of C Company, 6th Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR) have morning tea in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens whilst waiting to welcome home 6RAR from their first tour of Vietnam on 14 June 1967. More than 2,000 people gave a rousing welcome to the 500 troops arriving home from Vietnam onboard the HMAS Sydney, 60,000 people later lining the route as they marched through Brisbane city.
