Description
A Jordanian Army observation post, which was attacked by Israeli forces on the first day of the Six Day War. Three Jordanian soldiers had been manning a machine-gun when a hand grenade was rolled into the bunker, killing two and severely wounding the third. The observation post was close to the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO)'s Jordan-Israel Mixed Armistice Commission (HJK-I MAC) building in Jerusalem, which was threatened by the attack.
