Description
A German Henschel HS126 reconnaissance aircraft in service with IV. Gruppe, Aufklarungsgruppe 21 (IV./AGr 21) somewhere in France in 1940. The photo came from a German camera acquired by Corporal John Sheppard, MM, whilst he was serving in the Middle East with the 2/15th Battalion. Note the squadron markings of a griffin or dragon on the fuselage.
