Heavily camouflaged German air defences believed to be at the airfield at St Malo in France ...
Description
Heavily camouflaged German air defences believed to be at the airfield at St Malo in France during the Battle of Britain in 1940. The photo came from a German camera acquired by Corporal John Sheppard, MM, whilst he was serving in the Middle East with the 2/15th Battalion. In the foreground is a 2cm Flakvierling 38 (FLaK 38) light anti-aircraft gun, and to the right, a concealed bunker.
