A flight of Messerschmitt Bf 110 heavy fighters take off from an airfield believed to be at St Malo in France during the Battle of Britain in 1940. The photo came from a German camera acquired by Corporal John Sheppard, MM, whilst he was serving in the Middle East with the 2/15th Battalion.
