Original cross marking the grave of 2400126 Temporary Sergeant (T Sgt) Bernard Kevin ( Bernie) Cocks, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), in the United Nations Military Cemetery. After receiving shoulder wounds T Sgt Cocks insisted on returning to the front line and was killed two days later, on 17 May 1953. He was aged 32.
