Studio portrait of 2211 Lance Corporal (LCpl) Thomas Harold Melville of Chez Nous, near Trundle, NSW. LCpl Melville enlisted on 28 March 1916 and formed part of the 4th Reinforcements of the 45th Battalion. He was killed in action during the attack on Westhoek Ridge near Passchendaele on 11 October 1917 and has no known grave.
