Infantry recruits rest after training in dense bushland near Ingleburn, NSW. Facing the photographer is 2275420 Private, later Lance Corporal (LCpl) Martin Bink, who was deployed to Vietnam with the Anti-Tank Platoon, Support Company, the 9th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (9RAR) in November 1968. A national serviceman from Narrabunda, Canberra, LCpl Bink was killed by a Viet Cong (VC) claymore mine on 5 November 1969, five days before he was due to return to Australia.
