Going ashore?
Description
British poster warning against the dangers of revealing the movements of ships and the contents of their cargoes, for fear that this information would lead to the destruction of these ships by the Nazis. The idea that a spy could be innocuous is humourously illustrated though the use of a splendind multicoloured parrot, who is leaning forward with one eye bulging out and intently listening. The parrot is wearing a black cap with a nazi emblem on it. A cargo ship is in the background, steam streaming from its stack. A rope border surrounds the entire poster.
