Signal station - In the clouds 5000 ft, Owen Stanleys
Description
A signals station in the Owen Stanley Ranges is depicted in its location at 5000 ft, almost amongst the clouds. The signal post and signal lines are on the right and there is a flag to the left. This work was drawn by soldier artist Lieutenant John Nicholls, NX160003, 2nd Australian Jungle Trunk-Line Maintenance Section, during his service on the Kokoda Trail
