Lt Bode (later Capt Bode MC) was killed in action at El Alamein on 1 September 1942 as was Lt Cobb (later Captain Cobb MC & Bar) on 23 October 1942. Lt Christie (later Capt Christie) was killed in action in New Guinea on 24 September 1943. Capt Strange (later Major Strange DSO) died in Australia of unknown causes on 20 September 1944.
