Studio portrait of NX36028 Private (Pte) Kevin Gerard Mahon of Wagga Wagga, NSW. Pte Mahon enlisted in the Second AIF in July 1940, and served in the Pacific campaign with the 2/19 Battalion. He was killed on 22 January 1942, age 33, and is believed to be one of the victims of the Parit Sulong massacre.
